• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors and contractors, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Support orderly movement of vehicles and personnel at controlled entry points and deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Credentials Access in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, agile, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Support the orderly movement of vehicles and personnel at controlled entry points while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
