Job summary

Allied Universal in El Segundo, CA is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol warehouse and facility areas, deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional communication.

You will provide courteous service to clients, visitors, drivers, and staff, document observations, and follow site procedures and post orders to keep operations secure.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain clear records of visitor, driver, and delivery activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, following post orders and escalation procedures for security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
