Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Bristol, IN. You will patrol and safeguard the location, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role supports a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications site, with flexible shifts and the option to claim additional shifts via our platform. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
