Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or facility concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site-specific policies, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or facility concerns, and following post orders, reporting requirements, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
