Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex in Seattle to safeguard client sites across diverse industries. The role features 30–40 hours per week with a dynamic, self-scheduling program and irregular shift patterns to meet client needs.

Earn a pay rate of 25.10 USD per hour, with opportunities for advancement in a stable, community-focused workplace. Applicants must pass background checks and drug screening, and a valid driver’s license is required for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel the required distance to work locations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
