Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities services provider, seeks a Security Officer Flex Coverage in Riverside, CA. This role supports multiple client sites with irregular shift patterns and a 30–40 hour week, offering steady income and opportunities for growth within a national team.

You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete clear, timely reports while delivering courteous service to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include availability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license as per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call authorities in case of danger or unauthorized entry.
• Monitor entrances and exits and control access for authorized personnel.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary under site orders.
