Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Driver for shift coverage in Riverside, CA. Work 30–40 hours per week with a variable schedule across multiple sites, supporting client needs through our Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Pay rate is $22.11 per hour. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to travel for Branch Flex assignments, and compliance with background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel as required for assignments.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or smoking.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property; ensure lawful removals.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain post logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
