Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for flex coverage in Riverside, CA. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with a shift mix chosen via our scheduling program. You will patrol, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and maintain reports as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least a year in security, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel for assignments, with background checks and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Able to travel for Branch Flex assignments.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
