Job summary

Allied Universal’s Greenville, SC location seeks a Security Officer Flex—Entrance Access to protect client sites across various industries. 30–40 hours weekly with manager-assigned and self-scheduled shifts. Expect irregular shifts with little advance notice and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Pay rate is $18.06 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, ongoing paid training, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Driver’s license (where required) per policy.
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.
• Must be able to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits; control access per post orders.
• Warn violators and enforce client rules and site safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Notify emergencies as required by site post orders.
