Job summary

Northeast Security is seeking Security Officers for the Hingham, MA area. The positions offer full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts including first, second, and overnight. Pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour depending on position and experience.

Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting incidents, coordinating with police and fire departments, and maintaining patrol operations. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a neat appearance, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience, or related field/education.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Dependable means of transportation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal).
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Candidates must pass ALL pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring multiple premises to detect irregularities or security breaches.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement and fire departments as necessary.
• Operate mobile unit to monitor exterior premises.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
• Write detailed reports on incidents daily.
• Maintain submission of forms related to patrol activities.
• Respond to incidents and determine appropriate actions.
• Maintain patrol vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
• Conduct unarmed interior/exterior patrols.
• Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate actions.
• Comply with on-site manuals and post orders.
• Perform other duties as required by Client or Northeast Security.
