Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol in Orange, CA. You will patrol and safeguard client sites across industries, with shifts that vary week to week and opportunities for growth within the company.

You'll join a world-class security team, assigned to flexible, irregular shifts, and participate in the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift scheduling program, supporting client needs while maintaining high safety standards. Pay rate is $18.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation to and from multiple sites.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be willing to travel as required by assignments.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering or forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
