Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol in Orange, CA. The role involves patrolling sites, adapting to varying shifts, and building a long-term career with opportunities for advancement.

You will work 30–40 hours weekly under Earn More, Claim-A-Shift scheduling; pay rate $18.35/hour. Must be 18+ and pass background/drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Background check conducted as a condition of employment.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit entry for authorized persons and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
