Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flexible in Appleton, WI. This part-time role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings, while you gain hands-on security experience in a national leader.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The role supports flexible scheduling with anchor shifts and opportunities to grow into full-time positions through training and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, exterior areas, parking locations, perimeter boundaries, and restricted‑access points to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or materials in accordance with site policies and aerospace facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the assigned location.

As a Security Officer - Flexible in Appleton, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
