Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

Days and Times Vary Depending on Needs of Site

Weekend Work Required

Full Time

Must Be 21 Years of Age or Older

Previous Security Experience

Must Have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record

$20 / Hour

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment
• Driving Positions: valid Driver’s License, at least one year driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum insurance as required by company, ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Must pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with laws
• Available to work at multiple locations, covering shifts, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts
• Flexible to work any time and day
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, climb stairs/ramp/ladders, and stand/walk for long periods
