Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex in PHOENIX, AZ, offering part‑time hours with a flexible schedule and the chance to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our platform.

Pay rate is $20.84 per hour. This role provides fixed anchor shifts for reliability and a program to claim additional shifts across sites, with the potential to scale to a full‑time schedule. Responsibilities include screening, access control, incident response, and patrols at a logistics location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering designated areas per access‑control requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of items, packages, and belongings as directed by site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeters, documenting observations.
