Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer in Danville, Virginia.

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten the property, clients, guests, or employees at the site.

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.54 per hour

Flex Position

Standard Shift: Saturday - Sunday, 8 am - 4 pm, and other available shifts. Various 8-hour shifts available. Must have a clean driving record. Daily and weekly pay options available—You pick when you get paid!

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all personnel and the public.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Driving Positions: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in the last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months), minimum insurance as required by the company, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with laws.
• Ability to work at multiple client sites, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.
• Must be available to work any time and day.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in various environments, lift or carry up to 40 pounds occasionally, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders, and stand or walk for long periods.
