Allied Universal seeks to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer. The Security Flex Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. They act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may threaten property, clients, guests, or employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK*
• Required to cover for special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts
• Must have 6+ months of Security experience or the equivalent
• Driving Position: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
• Must have intermediate computer skills
• Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods
• Must be able to work outdoors in the elements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift
