Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial for operational and financial success. Flex Officers provide trained, competent support by working shifts that become available due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This ensures continuous service to our customers while supporting our personnel's health and work-life balance.

Scheduling Expectations

The scheduling for a Flex Officer differs from fixed-post employees:

• You will be trained at various posts based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post for several weeks, this is not a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week) will vary.
• You will be assigned or offered shifts as they become available.
• Some shifts will be scheduled in advance; others may be called on short notice.
• You are expected to work scheduled shifts within your availability. If unavailable, communicate with your supervisor.

For short-notice call-ins, working at least 80% of assigned shifts is expected. Refusing more than 20% may impact employment.

Security Officers perform duties as per Post Orders and SOPs, requiring thorough knowledge and quick, efficient action.
