Position Summary

Dunbar is seeking a dependable Security Officer to provide coverage when staffing needs arise. This on-call role is ideal for someone who can adjust to changing schedules, respond to shift assignments, and work independently with a professional approach. Officers patrol assigned outdoor areas, stay alert to unusual activity, and report observations to supervisors. Additional hours, up to full-time, may become available based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned outdoor areas on foot, by golf cart, and in company vehicles as directed


• Observe property conditions and identify suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or safety concerns


• Maintain an active, visible presence throughout assigned areas


• Promptly record and report incidents, unusual activity, and hazards


• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports


• Assist individuals with questions in a courteous, professional manner


• Clearly explain property procedures and expectations


• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to support consistent coverage


• Follow assigned instructions and established procedures


• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license


• Availability for 2nd- and 3rd-shift assignments and willingness to accept assigned shifts


• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
