Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in military police, law enforcement, corrections, security, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Position Summary

The Assistant Account Manager helps lead the daily operations of an unarmed security officer team at a contract client site. Supporting the Account Manager, this role serves as a liaison between Dunbar and the client and works closely with the Branch Manager, sales team, and headquarters support staff.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise shift supervisors, security officers, and site activities
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop officers, and handle disciplinary action for the assigned team
• Maintain detailed knowledge of site requirements and keep post orders current, accessible, and followed
• Build strong relationships with client representatives, resolve issues, perform site inspections, and recommend security improvements
• Oversee scheduling and officer assignments
• Confirm all officers are properly uniformed and equipped
• Manage the site fleet vehicle, including maintenance schedules, logbooks, inspections, driving records, and DOT certifications
• Conduct random site inspections and keep logs of supervisor visits, officer inspections, client contacts, and follow-up actions
• Work with the Branch Manager to maintain operational and expense budgets
• Fill temporary openings or provide on-site supervision as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in military police, law enforcement, corrections, security, or a related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations
• Ability to obtain first aid and CPR certification
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable law
