We are hiring Unarmed Flex Security Officers to work at Willis Tower in Downtown Chicago.

All candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays. Flex candidates should be available for at least two of the three shifts, preferably afternoons and overnights. We will try to provide advance notice for shifts, but call-offs may require coverage with four hours or less notice. Greater availability increases your hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, including assisting with directions and information
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors
• Monitor security cameras and patrol to prevent theft and ensure safety
• Maintain logs related to people and property, including packages
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, recording details for management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a High School diploma or GED
• Have 6 months to 1 year experience in security, customer service, retail, hotel, or restaurant roles
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Illinois PERC, including required training
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Meet physical requirements, including lifting 50+ lbs, patrolling, and working in various weather conditions
• Comfortable with heights and elevators

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
