Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Pendleton, IN to monitor facilities, deter security incidents, and provide professional service to clients, visitors and employees. You will perform unarmed patrols across industrial locations and maintain a visible presence to support access control.

The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for growth, and use of our Shift-Claim platform. A high school diploma and background check are required; state licensing may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at an industrial retail and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, sales floor, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
