Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Care Patrol in West Point, GA. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols of automotive areas, and monitor access to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining clear communication with the team.

The position is full-time with a consistent 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM schedule, offering a structured shift at a automotive facility and opportunities for growth within a dynamic, people-first security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive operations areas, parking lots, vehicle storage areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response procedures and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor access, and security-related observations.
