As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Observer in NEW YORK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government services location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government service locations, including building interiors, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
