Job summary

Hana Industries is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to patrol and monitor premises in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. You will enforce security protocols, respond to emergencies, and file detailed incident reports while coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Hana Industries is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our FAA team in Egg Harbor, New Jersey.

As a security officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and property. You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the premises, responding to emergency situations, and enforcing rules and regulations.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities


• Perform identification checks to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed access to the facility


• Respond to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, and criminal activity


• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment


• Conduct regular checks of security equipment and report any malfunctions


• Write accurate and detailed reports of incidents and activities


• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years' proven experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement, or military


• Active Secret Clearance (Preferred)


• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Excellent knowledge of security procedures and protocols


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Possess professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and attention to detail


• Ability to obtain a Permit to Carry a Firearm in the State of New Jersey


• Ability to obtain a New Jersey Armed Security Officers Responsibility Act (SORA) certification


• Pass a Physical and Random Drug Tests
