Job summary

Hana is seeking an Armed Security Officer to protect personnel, facilities, and assets at our NJ site (NWS Earle). You will control access, patrol, deter threats, and respond decisively to incidents.

We require 3+ years in security or 2+ years armed forces, English literacy, and firearms proficiency. Training is provided; competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany successful employment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years as Armed Security Officer (commercial or law enforcement) in the last five years; or 2+ years honorable service in any US Armed Forces.
• Proficient with firearms (9mm and AR-15).
• Age: 21+ or honorably discharged veteran.
• Background: No felony convictions or domestic violence.
• Proof of legal residency: US citizen required; dual citizenship prohibited.
• Communication: English literacy to read/write regulations.

Responsibilities

• Protect installations, personnel, and assets from unauthorized access, sabotage, theft, or other threats.
• Conduct entry control and identification checks to verify authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform perimeter and facility patrols to deter suspicious or unlawful activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Execute emergency procedures to secure the base during heightened alert conditions.
• Handle firearms responsibly, maintaining proficiency per standards.
• Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation of security activities.
• Interact professionally with military personnel, visitors, and fellow officers.
• Support Hana’s mission with ethics, integrity, and professional excellence.
