Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $25.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and utility operations teams by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
