Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, screening deliveries and contractors, and maintaining visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, receiving areas, and perimeters to identify unusual activity.
• Document incidents and access-control activity in clear, accurate reports.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location by verifying credentials, screening deliveries and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and communicating entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, receiving areas, sales-floor access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with documenting incidents, access-control activity, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
