You will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, respond to alarm panel activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Key Qualifications:

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Familiarity with access control systems and badge management is essential for ensuring the security of our facilities.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):Experience with alarm panels will be crucial in maintaining a safe environment for our staff and clients.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):Proficiency in using technology is important for managing various tasks efficiently.
• Customer Service Experience (B219):A strong background in customer service will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in client interactions.
• Loss Prevention (B210):Experience in loss prevention strategies will be beneficial in safeguarding our assets.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entries, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate gate access for shipments and deliveries, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
