Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience in monitoring and responding to alarm systems.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology for daily tasks and communication.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): A strong background in providing excellent customer service and support.
• Loss Prevention (B210): Knowledge and experience in loss prevention strategies and practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access points, alarm systems, cameras, and communications equipment; report unusual activity and potential security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, warehouse operations, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
