Position Overview

Provides security for patients, employees, and visitors; protects buildings, assets, and premises as assigned. Works under the supervision of the Security Supervisor on shift but exercises initiative on matters not prescribed within established policies and procedures.

Shift Details

Evening shift - 2:00 P.M to 10:30 P.M

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School or equivalent

Minimum Experience: 2 years of security experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting

Required Certifications/Licenses

• Current CA Driver’s license
• Guard Registration card
• Oleoresin Capsicum (OC)/pepper spray/chemical agent permit
• CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
• AB508/management of aggressive behavior certification within 90 days of hire

Compensation: City of Hope employees' pay is based on work experience, qualifications, and work location.
