Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Wentzville, MO to protect clients across transportation sites and other facilities. You will perform routine, unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while following site procedures.

This full-time role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. A valid driver's license may be required for driving assignments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and transportation personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, rail-adjacent property, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
