Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, NC. This full-time role involves patrolling the healthcare facility, assisting patients, visitors and staff, and maintaining a visible security presence.

A valid driver’s license is required, along with strong customer service and the ability to respond calmly to incidents while following site procedures and company policy. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing courteous directions or assistance to visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
