Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by applicable laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Whiteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, hospital policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies and restricted-area requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
