Job summary

Allied Universal in King Of Prussia, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer CPR Preparedness Patrol to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while using tablets to document activity and communicate professionally.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to site procedures, and timely incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs with confidentiality.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive site information.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
