Allied Universal in King Of Prussia, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with active DoD Secret clearance to protect aerospace/defense facilities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.86 / Hour

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with the AU Driver Policy. Candidates must provide proof of a valid license during the application process.
• Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges.
• Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm system operations and protocols.
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing tasks on digital devices.
• Candidates must hold a current CPR certification. This certification is vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and clients.
• Previous experience in customer service is required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, while maintaining professional communication with personnel and visitors.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
