Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and issue passes as directed, maintain entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and material access per site requirements and report unusual activity.
• Respond to access-control incidents calmly, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, construction areas, and parking to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a welcoming, professional environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and document activity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and material access in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, construction areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
