• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and report any security concerns.

Pay Rate: $21.89 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen persons, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established site procedures; verify credentials, review visitor authorization, and direct individuals to appropriate check‑in points.
• Monitor access points and maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and unusual activity; communicate access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned screening areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to identify and report security‑related concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
