Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must pass background investigation.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and established protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Screener in a dynamic technology location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting security-related procedures and helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wed 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Thur 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Fri 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
