Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, invites applications for a Security Officer - Arrival Verification in Boise, ID. In this role you will safeguard clients, manage entry points, verify credentials, and monitor access while delivering courteous service.

You will work on a schedule from Wed to Sun 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, at $19 per hour. The position is full time with opportunities for training, growth, and benefits.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer - Arrival Verification in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide courteous support to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests, vendors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, unauthorized‑entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, business areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
