Qualifications

• Must possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, document entries, and direct authorized personnel.
• Observe truck, trailer, and personnel activity; report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following established protocols and communicating with the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver entries, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe incoming and outgoing truck, trailer, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
