Allied Universal in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Security Officer Entry Point Part Time to protect people and property while delivering professional customer service. You will manage access control, monitor entry activity, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents at a busy logistics and distribution site.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, with pay rate of $16.33 per hour, and opportunities to learn our security protocols and advance through the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises and perimeters, with conditions varying by location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, trailers, and/or restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by observing activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following post orders related to visitor management, key control, and/or vehicle access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
