Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Archbold, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming, secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
