Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Zanesville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with security-related concerns at the location. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain an orderly environment. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $22.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tue 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Thur 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
