Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at our BLOUNTSVILLE, AL location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and maintain security with professionalism and teamwork.

Position offers flexible weekend/evening shifts and opportunities to grow within a leading security company. The role requires high school diploma, background check, drug screening, and a valid driver’s license for applicable positions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, damaged access equipment, or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
