Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers and delivery personnel following site procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting.
• Monitor access points, gates and logs; document entries and incidents per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site contacts and responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for individuals and vehicles entering or exiting the distribution location.
• Monitor access points, gates, and visitor logs; document entries, incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
