Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Response in Stratford, CT. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional additional shifts to increase earnings, designed for flexible hours and a pathway toward a fuller schedule up to 40 hours per week.

You will engage in customer service, patrols, access monitoring, and incident response, supporting site safety and security procedures. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state, local laws.
• Drug screen as required by policy.
• Licensing requirements per state laws and may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Response in Stratford, CT, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
