Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Fontana, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional additional shifts to boost earnings, at an automotive site.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, CPR/First Aid certifications, and are at least 18 years old (21 for armed roles).

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrolin Fontana, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at an automotive location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including incidents involving vehicle inventory, facility access, and/or visitor activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
