Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Patrol in Chino, CA to provide reliable, flexible part-time security coverage at a logistics site. Earn $19.73 per hour with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform customer service at the site, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document observations according to site procedures. This role offers part-time hours with potential to grow toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, loading dock activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor, driver, and delivery traffic flow.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while communicating relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer / Flex Patrolin Chino, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
