Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  • All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for communication and task management.
  • Emails should be composed using standard email clients and should adhere to the formatting and etiquette guidelines outlined in this policy.
  • Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with basic computer functions, including but not limited to, email composition, attachment handling, and calendar management.
• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  • Candidates should highlight any relevant customer service experience in their email communications.
  • Emails should reflect a customer‑centric approach, showcasing professionalism, empathy, and clarity.
  • Responses to inquiries should be timely and informative, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.

Job Schedule

• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and documenting arrivals, departures, and access‑related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, access logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
